Greater Manchester Social Enterprise Action Plan - Projects

SOCIAL ENTERPRISE START-UP (SES) PROJECT

This project completed on the 31st March 2007.

The aim of the Social Enterprise Start-up (SES) project is to create and increase the number of new social enterprise start-ups across Greater Manchester (GM).

SES provides a clear pathway to support the establishment of a new social enterprise, and offers a customised package of support to enable individuals and groups to develop the entrepreneurial skills during the pre-start and start-up phase to prepare for or establish a new social enterprise.

The diagram below describes schematically how the SES project will operate, and below its different elements are described in more detail.
