Approved Supplier Register (ASR)

Manchester Enterprises is launching its Approved Supplier Register from 1 April 2008. This marks a significant change in our approach to contracting with organisations in the future.

Our aim is to ensure the best organisations are listed to meet the needs of our staff and clients locally. There will be no registration or renewal fee charged.

Suppliers are being invited to showcase their talents in their chosen field, to compete for contracts and to build lasting relationships with the economic development agency for Greater Manchester.

Manchester Enterprises provides access to a number of public, private, community, voluntary and third sector organisations. Opportunities will be available to share services with groups of organisations across these sectors to meet the demands of future contracts.

To begin the registration process, suppliers must complete an application form and provide supporting evidence. This must be accompanied by a signed copy of Manchester Enterprises’ Terms and Conditions, the Data Protection Act and Code of Professional Practice.

Manchester Enterprises appreciates the need to procure efficiently and effectively and commits to treating all suppliers fairly.

Regular reviews of the Approved Supplier Register will be undertaken to ensure it continues to meet the needs of Manchester Enterprises and its strategic partners. Users of the Approved Supplier Register will be encouraged to complete a Client Feedback form to allow us to monitor progress and make improvements.

NB: Approved Supplier status does not grant exclusivity or priority rights to the supplier, nor does registration guarantee work from us or our partners.
